Program

Session Plan

Each 90 minute session will begin with one invited talk to appropriately set the scene (20+5 minutes) followed by five contributed and invited talks (10+3 minutes). The contributed talks will be selected to present exciting results that highlight new avenues of research and/or synergies between different wavebands or theory and observation.

  1. Assessing cold ISM structure in galaxies across scales and the processes shaping it through spatially resolved observations (2 sessions).
  2. Relationship between cold gas and dust (1 session).
  3. Impact of star formation and active galactic nuclei on their surrounding cold ISM and how this is best probed by infrared and radio instruments (2 sessions).
  4. Radio and infrared probes of astrochemistry and ISM physical properties (1 session).
In the following IAU plan we are listed as FM2, sessions 1 through 6 in August 6-7.
